I have had the privilege during the last year to connect with several "old" classmates from the early years of Pillsbury. As a result I thought it would be nice to share some old memories and current realities with one another.
Recently I was introduced to the Pillsbury Virtual Reunion on the web, but found that of over 550 names listed on the member roll only a handful were from the first ten years of the college. This is an attempt to rally us around the flag -- boys and girls. Send me your pictures, from both the past and the present, and I will post them.

Dave Becklund took some great pictures back in the days. This one is especially poignant. Can you name the faculty kids in the picture from Old Main sidewalk?

Gerry, Enjoyed this. Appreciate your ability with the computor and your vision/burden to produce scenes from those early years. I lack the PC ability (am a real novice)to send photos, but have oodles of them and will send them via regular mail. Reproduce any and all you think others might enjoy. We live and pastor in Waseca now. Back in the old area w/many memories. Bro. Poorman
These pictures remind me that life is short. Someone described life as liken to a roller coaster. At first it climbs the arc at a very slow pace but when we peak the top and head downward, watch out and hang on.
Oh by the way, I have a picture that someone took when I was playing the "pop bottle" at a junior senior banquet in the dinning hall, the new dinning hall and now I have a picture which you see playing the "pop bottle" in the same dinning hall some 40+ years ago. I don't believe I change a bit. For many years I have had the privilege of speaking in the different Christian schools, as well as playing my "pop bottle". What is now happening is that when I go to Hardees to get my senior coffee, the little lady would look at me and look at me again and would say..."Are you the guy who plays the "pop bottle"? I would reply in the afirmative and then she would say..."Do you remember me? You came to my school and played your "pop bottle". Now I'm married and have to kids." Oh me!
